The body of the motorcyclist who reportedly fell into the Himogaan River in Sagay City during Tropical Depression Agaton last Tuesday was found yesterday morning.
The fatality was identified as 33-year-old Ronnie Soberano, a resident of Sitio Pinag-iwatan in Barangay Tadlong of the said city.
Police investigations revealed Soberano was washing his feet on the concrete overflow, when he fell into the river and drowned.
A search and rescue operation was conducted by rescue volunteers, residents of the area, the Philippine National Police, and the Armed Forces of the Philippines./NC, WDJ
