The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) yesterday said they have not recorded any major incidents during the recent New Year’s Day celebrations.
Police Senior Inspector Armilyn Vargas, BCPO spokesperson, said the celebration in the city was generally peaceful.
Vargas said there were also no recorded incidents of stray bullets in Bacolod City, compared to last year, where they recorded one incident.
She noted, efforts by the BCPO contributed to the peaceful celebration in the city, along with the intensified ‘Ligtas Paskuhan 2017’ campaign./NC, WDJ
