A man was killed by two unidentified suspects in his home at Purok Mabinuligon in Barangay Alianza, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.

The victim was identified as 39-year-old Rogelio Castroverde.

Initial investigation revealed the unidentified suspects asked the victim for water and, when Castroverde opened his gate, he was shot in the head.

The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Recovered from the crime scene was one empty caliber .45 shell.

The suspects, meanwhile, fled after the incident.

Police are still conducting an investigation and a hot pursuit operation into the arrest of the suspects./NC, WDJ
