A laborer was stabbed dead at SBA in Barangay Bacong, Bago City, Negros Occidental on Monday evening.
The victim was identified as 32-year-old Libert Ojano, a resident of Purok Paraiso in the said barangay.
Initial investigations showed Ojano was seen walking with the suspects, identified as Mamerto dela Cruz and a certain ‘Junel.’
Witnesses said Ojano was later heard shouting for help after he was stabbed.
Ojano was brought to a Bago City hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Police are currently conducting a follow-up investigation and a hot pursuit operation for possible arrest of the suspect./NC, WDJ
