A man was shot to death by an unknown gunman at the Goldenfields Commercial Complex in Barangay Singcang-Airport, Bacolod City, Tuesday evening.

The victim was identified as 41-year-old Jeffrey Abendan, a resident of Purok Sunflower, Barangay Taculing, Bacolod City.

Initial investigations revealed Abendan was with an unidentified woman when he was shot twice as he was entering a taxi.

He was shot by an unidentified suspect using an unknown caliber of firearm that struck the victim in the lower right armpit and the back of his head, with the bullet exiting through his forehead.

Witnesses said they saw two suspects park their motorcycle in the area, who followed and shot Abendan.

The suspects immediately fled after the incident.

Police are currently conducting an investigation into the identity and apprehension of the suspects./NC, WDJ
