A man was wounded after being shot by his cousin at Sitio Montara in Barangay Camang-Camang, Isabela, Negros Occidental, Sunday evening.

The victim was identified as 31-year-old Joseph Monasterio, a resident of Sitio Jamaica in the said barangay.

According to an initial investigation, Monasterio was walking home with his cousin, 38-year-old Roque Monasterio, after drinking when Roque shot Joseph with an unknown caliber of firearm.

The victim sustained a wound to his left armpit and was rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The suspect, however, fled after the incident./NC, WDJ
