Following the recent completion of the Magsaysay-Araneta flyover, Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia called it a “dream come true.”

“This flyover project is a dream come true,” he said. “It is expected to contribute to the economic stimulation and modernization of infrastructure facilities in the city.”

The structure is scheduled to be formally inaugurated tomorrow, December 19, with Department of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar serving as guest of honor.

During a press conference earlier this month, Bacolod Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya said the flyover was supposed to open last week, December 15.

The structure was initially scheduled to open by the end of November, with the congressman previously speculating an early opening in October.
