The La Castellana municipal government, led by Mayor Rhumayla Nicor-Mangalimutan, inaugurated a P2 million Centennial Arch last week, which was part of the town’s annual Bailes de Luces Festival.

The mayor called the inauguration a “momentous event,” saying the arch will serve as a “symbol of the strength of La Castellana for 100 years.”

Nicor-Mangalimutan said a separate ceremony is scheduled for January 1, pointing out the municipality was established on January 1, 1918.

“I thank all the people, especially the ordinary ones, who have seen the great changes,” she noted./DGB, WDJ
