Rider hurt after motorcycle catches fire in Pahanocoy

After crashing into another vehicle, a motorcycle caught fire, injuring its rider over the weekend along Araneta Street in Barangay Pahanocoy, Bacolod City.
In a radio interview, Traffic Management Unit traffic accident investigator, Police Officer 1 Roland Abong, identified the rider as 24-year-old Alex Arcanghel of Purok San Antonio, Barangay Sum-ag.
According to an investigation, Arcanghel was heading north, operating against the flow of traffic, and slammed into a vehicle driven by 37-year-old Jomer Arevalo.
Abong noted, Arcanghel was brought to a hospital for medical treatment after sustaining injuries from the crash and the subsequent fire.
Meanwhile, Arevalo is being temporarily detained at Police Station 8./NC, WDJ
