The Iloilo City Public Employment Service Office (PESO) will be holding a job fair on January 24 at Robinsons Place Jaro, as part of the upcoming Dinagyang Festival.

A total of 60 positions, both overseas and with business process outsourcing (BPO) firms, will be available.

“This is one way of helping the Ilonggos [get jobs],” said Iloilo City Mayor Jose Espinosa III. “When they have a job, they can provide [for] the needs of their family.”

According to City PESO head Ma. Elena Benitez, most of the positions are in the hospitality management field, with many seeking service crew.

She reminded applicants to bring their resume and records of previous employment./WDJ
