Philippines undefeated after four games

The Philippine national softball team continued their winning streak at the ongoing 2017 Pacific School Games at the Adelaide Shores Sports Complex in Adelaide, Australia, yesterday sweeping another double header, beating the Australian states of New South Wales, 1-0, and Victoria, 5-1.

The Philippines is currently the only undefeated team in the tournament and sits atop the ladder.

In today’s double header, the Philippines will meet Western Australian in the first game; followed by a face-off against Queensland, who is currently second on the ladder.

“Queensland and South Australia are among our strongest opponents,” said coach Roselle Hulleza.
