A woman was arrested early Saturday evening after she allegedly mauled a bar worker along
Natalia Street in Barangay Sum-ag, Bacolod City.
Police refused to name the victim, but identified the suspect as 26-year- old Andrea Camille
Mamuyac of San Juan, Batangas.
Police Station 9 (PS9) said they received a call around 7:37 p.m. from a concerned citizen
reporting the assault.
A probe conducted by the station later confirmed the suspect allegedly lunged at the victim
during a heated argument over Mamuyac’s unpaid debt.

The suspect also reportedly threw a knife at the victim. While the knife attack missed any
possible targets, the victim sustained a scratch on the lower eye and cheek bone from the
suspect’s initial assault.
Mamuyac is facing assault charges and is presently detained at PS9./DGB, WDJ
