Following the conclusion of the 2017 Philippines Football League (PFL) regular season, Ceres-Negros FC finished in second place, one point behind league leaders FC Meralco Manila. The result set-up a showdown between the Negrense club and third place Kaya FC-Makati, with their two-leg semifinal scheduled to begin on Sunday, December 3.

Ceres will travel to the University of Makati Stadium, with a kickoff time set for 4:00 p.m.

The second leg will take place at the Panaad Park and Stadium on December 9, beginning at 7:00 p.m.

On the other side, Meralco is scheduled to meet fourth place Global Cebu FC.

Both legs will be played at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, with the first leg kicking off at 7:00 p.m. tomorrow, December 2; while the second leg will be played on December 9 with the same kickoff time.

The winners of this round will be decided by an aggregate score of their two matches, who then advance into the finals.

A final match between the winners, along with a consolation match to determine third place, will be played on December 16./JSG, WDJ
