The 12th Negros Island Organic Farmers’ Festival, which came to a close at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol grounds over the weekend, posted over P1.6 million in sales over the four days the event was in operation.
Among the items sold included vegetables, grains, fruits, juices, honey, native delicacies, plants, farm machinery, dried fish, and dairy products.
According to festival committee chair Boyet Uychiat, there were a total 121 exhibitors this year./WDJ
