The nationwide call for President Rodrigo Duterte to declare a revolutionary government is scheduled to take place on Thursday, November 30, with the local event to be led by Ricardo Noble, Sr., who runs small town lottery operation Southern Shores Gaming Corporation and chairs Launch Revolutionary Government-Region VI (RevGov-6).
During a recent press conference, together with former Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) head, retired Police Superintendent Armando Tubongbanua, Noble said a revolutionary government will hasten the changes the president promised, including the eradication of graft and corruption, along with waging the ongoing war against criminality.
He noted, a revolutionary government has nothing to do with taking up arms, but more on providing Duterte with the authority to speed up the implementation of policies intended to improve the country.
Around 30,000 people are expected to mobilize throughout the province, with an online poll set to open, asking if people want a revolutionary government in place.
If a majority votes in the affirmative, RevGov expects the president to issue an executive order declaring a revolutionary government./DGB, WDJ
