Student counterparts take the reins at BCGC

High school counterparts of Bacolod City Government Center (BCGC) officials, including the mayor and vice mayor, are currently in control of the city until Friday, November 24, as part of the annual Boys and Girls Week Celebration, a project of the Rotary Club of Bacolod.

Jude Lourence Segovia of La Consolacion College-Bacolod and Angela Terese Yu of the St. John’s Institute are serving as mayor and vice mayor, respectively.

Meanwhile, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, along with department and office heads, also have their own counterparts.

The students were inducted into their positions during yesterday’s flag-raising ceremony./WDJ
