The 12th Negros Island Organic Farmers’ Festival is scheduled to begin tomorrow, November 22, at the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol grounds.
The event will run for four days and is expected to highlight various exhibits featuring organic products and by-products, along with sustainable innovations and technology.
There are also expected to be a series of symposia, including “The World and Asia Organic Movement in the Era of Organic 3.0,” which will be conducted by Asia Federation of Organic Agriculture Movement president, Dr. Zhou Zejiang.
Also expected at the event are Department of Agriculture Secretary Emmanuel Piñol and Negros Oriental Acting Governor Edward Mark Macias./WDJ
