Bacolod City is among the finalists for two 2017 eGov awards, Best in Data-Driven Governance and Best in Government Inter-Operability. The ceremony is scheduled to take place today, November 17, at the Rosario Pavilion in Cagayan de Oro City.
The city is being considered for the e-Barangay Information Network (eBIN), which provides data between barangays and the city government.
The eGov awards are considered the “Awards for Excellence” in information and communications technology for local government units.
The awards are organized by the National Information and Communications Technology Confederation of the Philippines (NICP), in collaboration with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT)./WDJ
