The University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) defeated the Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias (CSAV), 61-44, in Game 2 of the 2017 Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association (NOPSSCEA) men’s basketball finals at the STI-West Negros University gym, last night.

The series is currently even at 1-1.

UNO-R closed the first quarter up 17-9. They maintained that lead by the end of the second period and headed into the break ahead 26-18.

CSAV managed to tie the game at 33-33 in the third period; however, UNO-R took back the lead and went into the final quarter with a 42-35 advantage.

The decider, Game 3, will be played today at 5:30 p.m./JSG, WDJ
