Registration deadline tomorrow

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), in partnership with the Bacolod City Council on Gender and Development (GAD), the Bacolod Business Development and Promotions Center (BBDPC), the Business Permits and Licensing Division, and the office of City Councilor Cindy Rojas will be conducting an investment information seminar on Thursday, November 16, and Friday, November 17, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the MassKara Hall of the Bacolod City Government Center.

SEC Commissioner Emilio Aquino, along with nine other SEC directors and officers, will discuss topics including GAD’s role in capital markets, microfinance and lending, investment scams, investment products, and the Company Registration System (CRS).

The BBDPC is inviting Bacolod City-registered enterprises, business organizations, chambers of commerce and industry, local government units, local economic and investment promotions officers (LEIPO), and potential investors to join the seminar.

According to Jonah LEIPO Javier, a participant may attend either day and there are 100 slots per day.

The reservation registration is tomorrow, November 15.
