2017 UniGames: STI-WNU leads men’s chess event

STI-West Negros University (STI-WNU) currently leads the men’s chess event of the ongoing 2017 University Games (UniGames) at the Negros Oriental Convention Center in Dumaguete City.

The STI-WNU team, comprised of Joshua Panes, Zillard Eslabra, Ace Robert Cabras, and Ryan Dale Ong beat both Holy Angel University and Saint Louis University (Baguio).

Meanwhile, the De La Salle University leads the women’s competition. /JSG, WDJ
