The Iloilo City Health Office (CHO) recently received 42 packs of dengue powder from the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

“The donation will be of big help to CHO’s campaign against dengue,” said city health officer, Dr. Bernard L. Caspe. “The powder will be sprayed in areas with stagnant water, and select barangays with more dengue cases will be prioritized.”
Among those barangays include Guzman-Jesena in the City Proper district, Sambag and Bitoon in Jaro, San Juan in Molo, Bakhaw in Mandurriao, Baldoza in La Paz, and Don Esteban and Sinikway in Lapuz./WDJ
