Public Information Officers to discuss stress, GSIS benefits at seminar today

Negros Occidental Public Information Officers will be holding a seminar today, September 28, at the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Sugar Workers Development Center (SWDC), located along Cottage Road in Bacolod City.

According to Negros Association of Government Information Officers and Liaisons (NAGIOL) President Olive Seruelo, Dr. Charibel Escandelor, a psychologist, will hold a forum about stress; while Billing, Collection and Reconciliation Division Chief for the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) in Bacolod City, Rosenie Chavez, will discuss various programs of the agency.

Seruelo noted, the discussion on stress is for suicide prevention month, which is observed throughout September; and, with NAGIOL members covered by GSIS, there is a need to highlight some of the available programs./WDJ
