MassKara Festival: Nightly events expected at the Bacolod Public Plaza

According to the Bacolod City government, the Bacolod Public Plaza will serve as the “heart of the MassKara Festival,” with events taking place every night of the 22-day MassKara Festival celebration, set to kick off on Sunday, October 1.

Besides food and beer kiosks opening along San Juan, Gonzaga, and Gatuslao streets, events set to take place at the venue include the “Tanda! Sing Na, Dance Pa!” competition, which takes place every night from October 2 to 22; the Nights of Mardi Gras costume contest, which runs from October 17 to 19; the “Sadya ang MassKara with Mayor Bing: National Fireworks Display Competitions,” which will take place across the city, making its way to the plaza on October 20; and the street and arena dance competitions, which take place on October 21 and 22.
