A married couple riding a motorcycle were wounded after being robbed in Villa Angela, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City, Monday night.
Police identified the wounded as 35-year-old Marlon Suarez and his wife, 30-year-old Gerlie Suarez, both residents of Barangay Granada in the said city.
Police Station 4 (PS4) commander, Police Chief Inspector Ritchie Gohee, said the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m., when an unidentified suspect snatched the wife’s bag while aboard a motorcycle.
The force from the robbery caused them to lose control of the motorcycle and subsequently fell to the pavement.
The victims were sent to Riverside Medical Center for medical treatment.
Currently, an investigation into the identification and possible arrest of the suspect is being conducted by police./WDJ
