A woman was killed after being struck by a driverless dump truck along the highway at Purok Acacia, Barangay Poblacion I, Sagay City over the weekend.
Police identified the fatality as 53-year Salvacion Cantila, a resident of said area.
Investigators from the Sagay City Police Station said the dump truck was parked by its unidentified driver in front of a cockpit, however, the vehicle began moving.
In its path, along with Salvacion, the vehicle also hit a motorcycle and a home owned by a certain Noli Ausan.
Police are still trying to determine the identity of the driver./WDJ
