The Kabisig People’s Movement (Kabisig), an organization that oversees the implementation of national projects and programs, will be holding the Kabisig Philippine Government Expo and Trade Fair at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod from October 17 to 19.

Kabisig Chair Daniel Guillen said he hopes government agencies come out to participate in the event.

“It is important that information coming from different government agencies reaches the people,” he explained. “This activity is one way of making the public appreciate the government.”

Guillen said he currently has around 40 private and government agencies committed to joining the expo, including the Clark Development Corporation, the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office, and the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth).

San Carlos City in Negros Occidental and Carles in Iloilo have also agreed to take part in the program./WDJ
