Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia will be attending the launch of the Supporting Local Government Units (LGUs) program by the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center today at the Asian Development Bank head office in Manila.

“We know that PPP is a tool that can help accelerate the growth and development of Bacolod, that is why we wanted to join the event,” said Leonardia.
The mayor is joined by City Administrator John Orola.
The event is expected to introduce PPP Center services and present financing options for LGUs.
Speakers from development and financing partners, which include the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, the Cities Development Initiative for Asia, and the Municipal Development Fund Office of the Department of Finance, are also expected at the launch.
According to PPP Center Executive Director Ferdinand Pecson, the center is an attached agency of the National Economic and Development Authority and serves as the central coordinating and monitoring agency for all PPP projects in the country./WDJ
