The 32nd Negros Trade Fair is scheduled to open at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City on September 27 and is set to run until October 1.
“The success of this event reflects the hard work and cooperation of Negrenses to strengthen the tourism industry of the province,” said Department of Tourism-Region VI (DOT-6) director, Atty. Helen J. Catalbas. “[DOT-6] congratulates Negros Occidental for 32 years of hosting the Negros Trade Fair.”
The event is said to attract around 1,500 visitors every day, and showcases products produced by small and medium enterprises, including food, fashion accessories, furniture, housewares, among other items.
“Negros Occidental is Western Visayas’ top destination for same-day visitors and [recorded the] third highest tourist arrivals in 2016,” Catalbas added./WDJ
