The Iloilo City Police Office (ICPO) recently released a statement announcing a reduction in crime in the city, based off a sample period of one week.
According to the release, between September 4 and 10 of this year, there were a total 74 recorded criminal incidents the city, a lower number as compared to the 102 recorded during the same period last year.
“We are doing everything to make our place peaceful,” declared ICPO spokesperson, Police Senior Inspector Shella Mae Sangrines. “We can attribute this decrease of criminal incidents to the sustained deployment of ICPO personnel to specific strategic areas.”
