Governor signs lease agreement for portion of Negros First Ranch

Negros Occidental Governor Alfredo Marañon, Jr. signed a lease agreement with Japanese corporation Tenshinzan Farm for a portion of the Negros First Ranch in Barangay Sta. Rosa, Murcia, yesterday.

According to the agreement, the company will invest in the Dairy Development Project, which is expected to contribute to food security and economic growth in Negros Occidental.
The Provincial Veterinary Office will also play a role in providing manpower and technical support services.
The signing took place at the Governor’s Office between Marañon and Tenshinzan Farm representative director Takahiro Ishii./WDJ
