Responding to a complaint claiming Vallacar Transit Incorporated (VTI) demands jeepneys utilize their gas station at their Northbound Terminal, the transport company denied the allegations yesterday morning.
According to VTI Legal and Public Relations Manager Jade Marquez, the situation arose when the United Drivers and Operators Center (UNDOC) claimed Ceres management grew angry with jeepney operators for not using their gasoline.
This conflict reportedly created delays for passengers who were headed towards destinations within Bacolod City.
UNDOC, VTI, and the Bacolod Traffic Authority Office (BTAO) have since met with Bacolod City Councilor Dindo Ramos to resolve the issue./WDJ
