Following a memorandum of agreement signed between Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia and Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital (CLMMRH) chief, Dr. Julius Drilon, the city government recently provided the hospital with P5 million, intended to be used for medicine, laboratory and diagnostic tests, along with funding the medical bills for patients referred by the city’s Medical Assistance Program.

“This is how we think hospital services will continue to improve,” said the mayor.

“We feel morally obliged to give our share,” Leonardia added.

Drilon, alongside CLMMRH Chief Administrative Officer, Atty. Marianne Carmel Corgos, and Financial and Management Officer Shareen Caelian, received the symbolic check during a ceremony at the hospital./WDJ
