The tenant of a boarding house, located at Block 3 and 4, Lot 21 in the Carmela Valley Subdivision, located in Barangay Zone 12, Talisay City, Negros Occidental, was robbed Tuesday morning.

Police identified the victim as 33-year-old Ruben Villaruel, a native of Barotac Nuevo, Iloilo City.

Reports released by Talisay City police said the culprits gained entry by climbing a perimeter fence and used a sliding window located along the south portion of the boarding house.

Once inside, the burglars took the victim’s two travel bags, containing a camera, a wallet, one laptop, three USB flash drives, one VGA cord, and cash amounting to P6,000.

The culprits then exited the house through the main gate, located along the western portion of the house.

Talisay City police are still investigating the identities of the suspects./DGB, WDJ
