Leonardia: It is too early for politics

Bacolod City Mayor Evelio Leonardia said he has not made any preparations for the 2019 elections, saying he would rather prioritize his duties as mayor.

“What is happening in the province is not exactly the same here in Bacolod,” he said.

Currently, local political coalitions in the province are organizing for the upcoming elections, discussing potential candidates and offering endorsements to various officials.

The mayor added it is too early for politics, and said there are still several projects that need to be implemented.
