2017 SEA Games Seven Davao FC players called up for international duty

Davao Aguilas FC will be sending seven players to the 2017 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which begins on Saturday, August 19, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Philippines Football League (PFL) club Davao Aguilas FC will be sending seven players to the 2017 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, which begins on Saturday, August 19, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
“We wish them all the best,” said Aguilas coach Gary Phillips. “We are confident they will do well and represent Philippine football in a good way; they are quality players, quality individuals.”
Among the players taking part in the international sporting event include defender Junell Bautista; strikers Jaime Cheng and Richard Talaroc, Jr.; and midfielders Raymart Cubon, Jordan Jarvis, and Dylan De Bruycker.
Also joining them is Van Rey Diaz.
In preparation, a football camp was held in Japan, in cooperation with the Japan Football Association.
Their first SEA Games match is scheduled to take place tomorrow, August 15, prior to the opening ceremonies, against Cambodia./WDJ
