Following the 2-1 loss in the first leg of their 2017 AFC Cup ASEAN Zone final series against Singaporean side Home United FC, Ceres-Negros FC midfielder Iain Ramsay said the club was unhappy with officiating during the match.
“There were decisions that we were unhappy with,” he said.
During the match, the Negrense side had two goals called offside.
However, Ramsay noted, with their one goal, scored by midfielder Martin Steuble, Ceres goes into the return leg with an away goal, giving them an advantage if the aggregate score of the two legs comes to a draw.
“We’re confident we will win the game at home,” he stated.
The second leg is scheduled for next week, August 9, at the Panaad Park and Stadium./WDJ
