Two cousins were arrested in a buy-bust operation conducted by Police Station 6 (PS6), led by Police Chief Inspector Jovil Sedel, at Purok Lirio, Barangay 33, Bacolod City Saturday evening.
Police identified the suspected drug pushers as 38-year-old Aladin Villagracia, the subject of the buy-bust operation; and Richard Margen, 29. Both are residents of the said purok.
According to Sedel, Villagracia initially surrendered as part of Oplan: Tokhang but, after continuous monitoring, they found he was still involved in the illicit activity.
Confiscated from the suspects were one big, two small, and 23 elongated sachets of suspected shabu; drug paraphernalia; and marked money.
Sedel quoted the market value of the seized substances ranging between P50,000 to 60,000.
Both face illegal drugs charges and are now in the custody of PS6./WDJ
