The competition in honor of late Basketball Unified Sports (BUS) Group co-founder Rogelio ‘Bing’ Soyao, initially planned for July 28, will begin on Monday, August 7, starting at 7:00 p.m. at the JGC Gym in the Goldenfield Commercial Complex.
Dubbed the 1st Bing Uy Soyao Memorial Cup, Cap Boys and Judge Marketing will meet at 8:30 p.m., following a brief opening ceremony, with Betty Soyao, Dr. Shearwin Soyao and Ronron Soyao expected as guests.
The tournament will run as a single round-robin tournament, with a crossover semifinal and a knockout final.
A kick-off party is, meanwhile, planned for Saturday, August 5, at the Rubix Restobar at 7:00 p.m./WDJ
