Besana, Decena elected to UNO-R posts

San Sebastian College–Recoletos de Cavite Vice President for Administration, Rev. Fr. Don Besana, was recently elected vice president for academics at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos.
University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) Grade School principal, Rev. Fr. Perzius Joseph Decena, was elected UNO-R vice president for religious affairs.

San Sebastian College–Recoletos de Cavite Vice President for Administration, Rev. Fr. Don Besana, was recently elected vice president for academics at the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R); while UNO-R Grade School principal, Rev. Fr. Perzius Joseph Decena, was elected UNO-R vice president for religious affairs.
Besana had previously worked for UNO-R as chaplain and Campus Ministry Office (CMO) director from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, besides assignments throughout the country, including Baguio City, Cebu City, and Manila, he has also been assigned to the African nation of Sierra Leone. During that time he served as a prior, or superior officer, to the local community.
He replaced Rev. Fr. Albert Pellazar, who is currently assigned in Surigao del Norte.
Meanwhile, Decena assumes his new position while also serving as university chaplain, CMO director, and director for the religious studies department./WDJ
