A suspected drug pusher, carrying 0.100 grams of suspected shabu, worth P1,500, was caught in a buy-bust operation at Del Pilar Street, Barangay 3, Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, last Sunday.
Police identified the suspect as Rue Patalagsa, 40, and resident of the said barangay.
Reports by Hinigaran municipal police said, during a buy-bust operation, led by PSI Lawrence Gerald Bathan, the suspect was caught handing a sachet of suspected shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange for one P500 bill.
Recovered from the suspect were two sachets of suspected shabu, the P500 buy-bust money, an improvised glass tooter with residue of suspected shabu, four assorted disposable lighters, an elongated piece of aluminum foil with residue of suspected shabu, an improvised aluminum foil tooter, a pair of scissors, a transparent plastic container containing unsealed plastic sachets, an improvised plastic tooter canister, three P100 bills and four P20 bills believed to be proceeds from illegal drug sales, and a red sling bag.
The suspect is detained at the Hinigaran Municipal Police Station./WDJ
