A 37-year-old suspected drug pusher was caught in a buy-bust operation conducted by the San Carlos City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) along Rizal Street, Barangay 3 in the said city, over the weekend.
Police identified the suspect as Edison Salbuenas, a newly identified street level target and resident of the said barangay.
Reports released by San Carlos City police said the suspect was apprehended after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu, worth P500, to a poseur buyer.
When searched by police, Salbuenas yielded the P500 bill used as marked money for the operation.
Salbuenas faces illegal drugs charges and is detained at the San Carlos City Police Station./WDJ
