Yellow Team captures championship

The Yellow Team defeated the Blue Team by 14 pinfalls, 1,394 to 1,380, and captured the Negros Press Club Inter-Color Bowling Tournament title over the weekend at the Negros Super Lanes in the Goldenfield Commercial Complex.

Hernan Garciniego, who earned the highest individual score of 314 pinfalls, led the Yellow Team, comprised of Arman Toga, Henceboy Cestina, Buddy Ferrer, Dominique Bañaga, and Mae Marañon.

Negros Press Club President Renato Duran thanked members of the media and sponsors.

“Let’s continue to develop cooperation, friendly fellowship, sportsmanship, and unity within our club,” he said.

Also present during the event were Bacolod Lone District Rep. Greg Gasataya and City Councilor Wilson Gamboa, Jr./JSG, WDJ
