On the heels of news reporting two Doña Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School (DMLMHS) students would be part of the Philippine 18-Under women’s basketball team competing at the 9th ASEAN School Games, which begins today, two more Negrenses were also added to the Philippine men’s basketball team.
Daniel Coo and Dann Spencer Lim, who both attended St. John’s Institute (SJI) will both be part of the men’s basketball team, coached by Richard Goldwin Monteverde.
In total, Negros Occidental produced 10 of the 459 Philippine athletes taking part in the sporting event./WDJ
