Two Doña Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School (DMLMHS) students will be part of the Philippine 18-Under women’s basketball team heading to Singapore to take part in the 9th ASEAN School Games, which starts on Thursday, July 13, and runs until July 21.
Kentjane Pastrana and Princess Fabruada are both students of the Silay City school, with the former originally from Victorias City and the latter from Dumaguete City.
“This is a once in a lifetime opportunity,” said Pastrana. “We promise to give it our best to make our family and supporters proud.”
Both players were previously part of the Negros Island Region (NIR) squad that took silver in the Palarong Pambansa in 2016 and 2017./WDJ
