Man found dead in Murcia sugar plantation

The decomposed remains of a 59-year-old man were found in a sugar plantation in Barangay Talutog, Murcia, Negros Occidental, Friday.
Police identified the fatality as Rizalde Rebitche, a resident of the said town.
Police Senior Inspector Ronald Santillan, Murcia municipal police chief, said Rebitche’s remains were found by a cattle raiser in the area, who claimed he last saw the victim on Monday.
The individual stated the victim asked him the location of a house owned by Rebitche’s relative.
Santillan added, when they talked to the victim’s family, they found Rebitche was suffering from diabetes.
Authorities have yet to find any injuries upon an initial investigation.
The local police chief noted, Rebitche’s remains will undergo autopsy to determine the cause of death./WDJ
