The 1st Mayor Neil Lizares Super Liga Basketball Tournament is scheduled to begin on July 23 at the Talisay City gym.
Among the teams invited to take part include the University of St. La Salle, the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos, Colegio de San Agustin-Bacolod, STI-West Negros University, the Visayan Maritime Academy, Colegio de Sta. Ana de Victorias, University San Agustin-Iloilo, Silay City, MF Computer Solution, BCV Construction, Murcia City, Abang Lingkod Partylist, Davies Fyr Fyter, Singcang, and Talisay City.
However, league commissioners Mark Belangel and Vincent Setier stressed the league will only be comprised of 10 teams./WDJ
