Antique scholars receive over P1.6M

A total of 648 Antique barangay nutrition scholars (BNS) each received a P2,500 honorarium during the launch of the province’s nutrition month observance, earlier this week; a total distribution of P1.62 million.
Governor Rhodora Cadiao called BNS “front-liners” in the provincial government’s effort to care for the health of children throughout the province. She further challenged them to reduce the number of malnutrition cases.
The governor added, if such cases are reduced by next year, she promised to increase the honorarium.
