Man hacked to death in Kabankalan City

A 32-year-old man died on the way to the hospital after he was allegedly hacked by two farm laborers at Purok Palangga, Barangay Tapi, Kabankalan City, Thursday evening.
Police identified the fatality as Arson Eletico, a resident of the said barangay.
Investigators from the Kabankalan City police said the suspects, identified as 22-year-old Ricky Tagacay and a certain “Macmac,” created a commotion after hurling several rocks at Eletico’s residence.
The victim’s brother-in-law exited the house, wherein the suspects challenged them to a fight.
Eletico tried to pacify his brother-in-law when he was hacked in the neck by the suspects, who then fled.
Eletico’s family rushed him to the Kabankalan City District Hospital where he was declared dead on arrival by hospital staff.
Kabankalan City police are conducting a hot-pursuit operation against the suspects./WDJ
