At least three people were arrested by police after they conducted a buy-bust operation at Purok Sigay, Barangay 2, Bacolod City, late Tuesday afternoon.
Police identified the suspects as 37-year-old Philbert Rogacion; Don Brandon Gulfan, 22; and Jason Gado, 20.
Police Station 2 (PS2) commander, Police Chief Inspector Benedicto Villarias, said the main target of the operation was Rogacion, while Gulfan and Gado were arrested as they were caught using illicit substances in the area during the deal.
The police officer said they have been monitoring the suspects for several weeks and had conducted a trial buy in which the drugs purchased from the suspects tested positive for shabu.
Villarias noted, they seized around P9,000 worth of suspected shabu from the suspects, along with drug paraphernalia.
All three face illegal drugs charges and are presently detained at PS2./WDJ
